Background

I first got into photography way back in 1990 when my art teacher taught me how to use an SLR and to develop my black and white film.

Photography has always been a hobby and I did harbour ambitions to be a photographer but I also knew my parents expected me to have a more stable career so I put my photography aspirations to one side and went on to university. Over the last 14 years I have built up a career in the web and digital media industry.

Over the past couple of years I've become more serious about my photography as it brings me so much pleasure.

Photography approach

There are many sides to people that they don't often show to everyone. In my portrait photography I aim to capture as much of someone's personality as I can, sometimes showing a side that people often don't see. At weddings and civil partnerships I capture those special moments that you would like to treasure.

I have A-Levels in Art and Photography and I'm a member of the Royal Photographic Society.

I am based in London but am happy to travel throughout the UK, Europe and Hong Kong to cover photography commissions. For sessions outside of London, an additional charge may apply to cover my expenses and the extra time involved in travelling to and from the destination - if this is the case I will make you aware of the costs before you pay any deposits. I have covered portrait and events photo sessions in London, Amersham, Cheddington, Enfield, Rickmansworth, Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells. Wedding shoots have taken me to Enfield, Essex, Surrey and Cape Town.
